Not the red juicy edible kind, nope those fart sounding ones made with your mouth.
That's what I feel like today. A fart, but saying raspberry sounds much better, don't ya think?
Everything was great last night...ahem great couple time, but it meant we went to bed late, and after the anxious day I had yesterday I slept HARD. As in so hard, I didn't wake up when Bailey woke up 3 times screaming because his nose was running. The boy forgets he can come get us, and would rather scream bloody murder from his room. And considering his room is across the house from ours, he has to be pretty damn loud to be heard.
Poor Bo got up with him, because I slept through it.
I had a hard time waking up this morning, and got pissed off at my hair for deciding to resemble a limp noodle. Now I'm starting to feel like I'm coming down with a cold.
I have a house to clean. I have laundry to do. I have floors to sweep/vacuum. Next to nothing has been done around the house since Wednesday.
I have blogs to write, books to read, and a story that is crying my name.
See, fart.
And I'd rather make gross noises at it all and go to sleep. But I can't, because nothing will get done if I do.
RASPBERRIES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I had to laugh at how you compared your day to a raspberry! Sorry you aren't feeling so great, hope you get well soon!
I found myself saying "Boo" with a thumbs down motion all day today.
Maybe it's just that kind of day.
Feel better!
Ok, you kinda killed raspberries for me for a while ... but I'm thinking a great night's sleep and such a rocking husband to help you through was great for you!
You should have stuck to lemons ... we could have cracked open the tequila!! ;-)
Screw everything else and get to the story in your head that's begging to be told!
The award is so sweet but I honestly don't know how to link. I'm pathetic, but doing what makes me happy.
Write, woman, write. At least send me something - a short story - a shitty first draft of anything. I will do the same to you. It's painless. We're writers. That's what we do.
