In a month, my little boy starts Kindergarten. In a month I hand my son over to a total stranger for the first time ever.
Drinking is so going to be my new hobby next month.
I'm trying to focus on the little things that I can control, like getting us in a different morning routine so we're ready and out the door on time.
If you've ever read my blog, you know I'm not a morning person. Although I used to get up at 5:30 every morning to go to work, I enjoy sleeping in now that I can....or did since I will have to get up early or we won't be on time.
Ugh, I'll have to be awake before 7, the travesty.
I'm also trying to come up with what to make him for lunch. I love the website Weelicious and have made a few of her recipes. But her lunchbox section shows mostly foods that have to be heated and he won't have that option. I'm left scratching my head wondering just how many ways I can make a sandwich or a salad so he doesn't get sick of them. Any suggestions?
The count down has begun, some days he's excited other days he'd rather not talk about it. Just like he's Mama.

I'm with you on this one mama. My youngest starts kindergarten and I thought it would be easy since I already went through it (my oldest starts 2nd grade..yikes!) but I'm dreading it! Their school is peanut free and the kid lives on pb&j. Poor thing is going to be famished when he gets home!
Ah poor baby! Peanut butter rocks! I feel sorry for those allergice to peanuts (well anything actually), all the stuff they miss out on, its sad.
It'll be fine, I promise! A little weird at first but by next July you'll be saying "Is it time for school yet?"
